to help people better understand females who use bad behaviour. 

No, not all women, just some. ​

There is endless information and support for women who have experienced abuse at the hands of a man. However, when you look for services to help male victims they are few and far between. Women are also more likely to believed by police leaving men isolated and branded a perpetrator when it may not be the case. 

 

At work, females who experience bullying by another woman are often found secluded and pushed out especially in female dominated workplaces. Some women feel the need to hold other women back to get ahead, when women should be helping each other succeed. 

 

My views on toxic female behaviour leave some puzzled and some females angry at the thought that I, a woman, could criticise other women.  They like to throw the Madeline Albright comment at me "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women". I do agree with this quote BUT I also believe that as women we should not support the bad behaviour of women, just as men should not support bad behaviour in men.

​I consider myself a humanist (and not a feminist), we are all human and should treat each other with dignity and respect. It should never be about your genitals! This view in the domestic violence space, as well as my views on toxic feminist workplaces has landed me in hot water in the past. Yet I believe that we must embrace our views and beliefs if they are designed to help others. I also know that the women and men I have helped to overcome the damage of toxic female behaviour champion this view and my work.

How did I get here? â€‹

In 2017, after having aggressive breast cancer in my 30's, I decided to become a consultant and work for myself. to focus on health and family over finances. Little Things Consulting was a bit of everything, training in leadership, database development and resources to support toxic workplaces. Completing a PhD was part of my plan to create specialist knowledge in toxic female behaviour at work and enhance my business goals.

 

I started my PhD on female psychopaths in the workplace in 2021 with the hope of sending my business into the toxic workplace solutions space. However, as my Phd was concluding I made the rash decision to take on more stable employment in academic teaching and research. Prioritising an academic career over my health and desire to work for myself. Yet in early 2025, "a series of unfortunate events" led me to reconsider my priorities and God's plan for me moving forward, hence I decided I needed the freedom to do what I was passionate about.

​In 2025, only a few years after closing Little Things Consulting I decided to return to self-employment to embrace my passion for understanding and helping others to understand toxic female behaviour. But this time I would not do a little bit of everything I would focus on my passion. Hence "Dr Fiona M Girkin" returns to self-employment with no business name or ambiguity just a vision and a plan to change the narrative on how we view all women as good and all men as bad.
